Jailbreak iPhone 3G S & iPod Touch 2G 3.1

Yesterday, the dev-team released an update for Pwnage tool which now allows you to jailbreak your iPhone 3G S or your iPod Touch 2G on the 3.1 firmware. there was already a jailbreak out for the iPhone 2G, iPhone 3G, and iPod Touch 1G. This jailbreak is only for macs at the moment. NOT FOR WINDOWS YET! Also, chronic-dev is working on the jailbreak for the iPod Touch 3G. I will have a post on both of those when they come out, so check back here often for more updates. i have not made a video on it yet, as i am getting my camcorder fixed. so there will be a video tutorial on it tomorrow. here are the links:

MMS for iPhone Released!

Finally!! AT&T has finally released MMS for the iphone today! Exciting for most iphone users. MMS will only work if you have a 3G or 3G S iPhone. NOT 2G!! To get it, you must be running the 3.1 firmware on your iphone and have itunes 9.0. When you plug your iphone in, you should have a carrier update available. this is not a software update. this is from AT&T. this will not effect jailbreaks either. It is not working for some people right now, so dont complain if its not working for you. it is the first day its out, so give it a while to be working good. Enjoy MMS on your iPhone!!

Apple September 2009 Keynote Overview

Yesterday, apple had one of their famous september keynotes. many rumors were going around about a new ipod touch 3g and a new nano with cameras. only one of those came out. apple did talk a lot about other things and release a few things. here is a list of the stuff that was talked about and released

- Updated iPod touch 2g with 64 gb and speeds of iPhone 3gs
- new iPod nano with camera / video recorder, fm radio, and speaker
- updated ipod shuffle
-iPhone/iPod Touch 3.1 software update
- iTunes 9.0
- iPhone MMS sept. 25

those are the main things apple talked about. there was a little more i didnt get to though.

there isnt many updates in 3.1, so im not going to do a post on it. And i have already made a post on iTunes 9.0

Apple Sept. 9 Keynote

Apples keynote tomorrow should be very interesting. Tomorrow (Setp. 9) we will most likely see a new iPod Touch and a new iPod Nano. Each with cameras. Sources also say that Apple will discontinue the iPod Classic and release more than one new iPod Touch. It would be an a 8 GB for $150. The main expected new iPod Touch is supposed to be $199 for 16 GB, $299 for 32 GB, and $399 for a 64 GB. Apple is also expected to be releasing iTunes 9.0, also with The Beatles entering the iTunes Music Store. There might also be an Apple Tablet, but that is mainly expected for and early 2010 release. Lets hope all of these rumors come true! Apples keynote starts tomorrow at 10:00 PST in California. Check back here, my youtube, and twitter for the latest updates

Cases for next-generation iPods?

 

These pictures from engadget appear to be pictures of cases for a new iPod Touch (top) and a new iPod Nano (bottom). These pictures appear to have holes in the cases for cameras. The iPod Touch would have a camera in the top center of the iPod and the iPod Nano would have a camera in the bottom right of it. We have plenty of evidence to believe that Apple has made new iPods with cameras, but we will have to wait until next wednesday (september 9) when Apple announces them. iPhone to get MMS Sept. 25

The other day, AT&T issued a press conference and announced that mms for the iPhone 3G & 3G S will be available on september 25. They said it will be available through a software update, and there will be no extra charge for mms if you have a texting plan. i do not have an iphone, but, i would be very excited for this. AT&T is now making the iPhone what it truly should be!

iPod Touch 3G Info

As most of you know, Apple releases most of its new iPods (not iPhones) in the August / September time of the year. Well we have good enough evidence to belive that apple is coming out with a new iPod Touch and possibly even a new iPod Nano. Apple is believed to have scheduled a media meeting ( where they usually release new devices) for the second week of September, most likely the 8th. Apple also ordered a whole bunch of cameras earlier this summer. Also, a few pictures have surfaced on ipod case websites of a new ipod touch and a new ipod nano with a camera. So, what do you think? Will Apple release a new device? I hope so.
